Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce (AICC) is a premier Chamber of Commerce in the USA. The Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce has evolved to meet the entrepreneurial vacuum, provide a forum for networking and to build on the strengths of each other giving credence to our simple slogan: "None of us is as strong as all of us".

Objectives of IACC:
  • Promote the common interests of members by providing group representation in a nonpartisan and secular manner.
  • Establish a resource for access to information and research to enhance knowledge and growth among our members.
  • Organize and support nonprofit cultural events, educational symposiums and humanitarian causes
  • Provide a networking forum for exchange of business ideas and contacts for the mutual benefit of the members.
  • Leverage the value of strength in numbers to provide tangible benefits to members.
  • Encourage participation in the American political process in a nonpartisan manner and strengthen commercial, social, and political relationships between the United States and India.
Activities:
  • International: Develop International connections to promote business growth, via trade missions & trade delegations, to and from Indian and other countries. Strengthen commercial, social and political relationships between United States and India.
  • Business Exposition: Provide a forum for the Promotion and Enhancement of Businesses, to showcase products and services.
  • Legislation: Advocate and lobby the business concerns to political leaders at State and National levels, participate in political forums & meetings Delegation to Washington DC to meet with political leaders and policy decision makers.

The Indo-American Society (IAS) is a forum for intellectual and cultural exchange and for the promotion of friendship between the peoples of India and America. It provides opportunities for interactions that help Indians and Americans assimilate each other’s strengths and build on them. It is recognized as a leading institution for enhancing cooperation and understanding between the peoples of the two countries through innovative and useful activities in the social, educational, cultural, economic, scientific, and management development fields.

The need for human bonding expresses itself in many forms. This is especially true when a community relocates and seeks roots in another country. Evidence shows in the formation of the Community centers and places of worship, created to preserve the past and provide continuity to future generations, the entrepreneurial and business needs of the growing community. Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA)



With Mumbai (Bombay) as the capital of the state of Maharashtra, it’s one of the most industrialized and prosperous states of India. The Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA) is the Apex Chamber of the State. The Chamber was founded in the year 1927. The Chamber plays a pivotal role in supplementing and augmenting the efforts of Government for the economic development of the State and advancement of its people. With more than 3500 direct Members, comprising of large, medium and small-scale industries, traders, agriculturist and professionals, MACCIA is the only Chamber in Maharashtra, which has deep-roots in all the 35 districts encompassing 355 Talukas of Maharashtra. In addition over 800 local trade and industry associations and professional bodies having collective membership of over 700,000 business organizations from all over the State are affiliated to the Chamber and thus it virtually functions as the State’s Apex Chamber.

Mission of the Chamber:

President

Vice President, Emerging Markets - Biosensors International In his current role, he is managing emerging regions including South/Central America, Mexico, Africa, South Asia etc. He also holds the position of Managing Director Indian Sub-Continent. He has been instrumental in developing the Biosensors brand through direct presence in the region.

He has over ten years experience in the healthcare industry, having previously held positions in product/ marketing research, consulting and business development with companies such as Frost and Sullivan (CA, USA) and Clarus Systems (CA, USA). Amit holds Master of Business Administration (MBA), Marketing and International Business, San Francisco, CA, USA and Bachelor of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering from Pune, India.

Ashok Sapra,USA

Ashok Sapra, a US citizen, has been living in New York for the past 38 years. He is an active Member of the Democratic National Committee since 2011. He is known for his excellent networking with the business communities in New York as well as in India. He also serves as the Public Relations Director ‘South Asian Insider’ - a weekly newspaper of New York.

His long career includes roles in and as a Business Consultant, International Business Development in USA/INDIA, Strategic Planning, Public Relations etc. He has been a part of various business delegations to promote trade between India and the USA.

Ajay Bohora

He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Credila Financial Services, India’s First Dedicated Education Loan Company. Prior to that with his brother Anil he had co-founded a BPO in Nashik, which was acquired by WNS. WNS eventually got listed on New York Stock Exchange. He serves as the Member of the Sub Committee on ‘Student Financial Aid’ of Government of India, Delhi.

He is a recipient of ‘Engineering Achievement Award’ by The Institute of Engineers (India) for the year 2007-08. He got recognized as the Top 50 CMOs (Chief Marketing Officers) of India by CMO, Asia. Just this month he received the most respected award - ‘The Emerging Leader of the Year Award’ by Asia Confederation of Businesses at India Leadership Summit 2013 powered by the popular newspaper DNA. His company Credila was bestowed with the most prestigious ‘Master Brand’ status.

He also serves as the member of the Senate of the 100 years old prestigious Engineering Institute - VJTI, Mumbai. He is a member of Higher Education Network, FICCI. He has also served as a special invitee to one of the committees of the University Grants Commission UGC. He is an active member of Nasik Citizens’ Forum, a private initiative for a better Nasik.

He has earned B.E from VJTI, Mumbai and MBA from Hofstra University, New York, USA. He is also the recipient of the Gold Medal of VJTI for the Best All Round Performance
